Information Regarding Seasonal Influenza
It seems as if the flu season is upon us. The Ball-Chatham School District would like to offer the following methods, recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and those used by the district, to help reduce the spread:
- Students who are showing signs of influenza (cough, fever, chills, fatigue) should remain home and away from other students. They should stay home except if needed to go to the physician office. They should also remain away from family members who are very young (younger than 6 months), very old, or have other diseases such as asthma or lung disease that may make the symptoms of influenza worse. The Glenwood Athletic Booster organization is selling Titan wear, stadium chairs, cookbooks, and yard signs and will guarantee delivery by December 25th of all orders placed by December 5th. Click here to download the order forms. The forms should be turned in to the main office at your child’s school, and a booster club member will be collecting them every Friday beginning October 24th.
